Statement:

I use genetic markers and genomes to study the Conservation Genetics of endangered pheasants in China, including their genetic diversity, population structure and demography. I also study the Systematics of pheasants and other birds, to answer questions about their evolution history, phenotype evolution and biogeographic process, which is crucial for explaining the biodiversity patterns on Earth. Combining these information, I further study the endangered mechanism and conservation strategy for endangered pheasants in China.
